The Cannon Mountain Tram is a great way to see magnificent views of the White Mountains in New Hampshire. The 80-passenger cable car can get you to the 4,080' summit in under 10 minutes. On a clear day, you can see the mountains of four states and Canada. There's a walking path that you can take up to the observation deck. I'd recommend heading up in the fall.
Teddy has some weird genetic hair issues going on. He's gone from short hair to long hair to a full mane to no mane, with plenty of iterations in between—and it doesn't depend on the season!
