I stayed briefly in Amado Arizona before heading up to Tucson for a winter. I only visited the National Forest for one day and I'm afraid I only hiked the Bog Springs and Kent Spring trails. (Mostly because they had some scary signs warning about drug smugglers coming across the border in that region.)
Also including within this post are a few images from the road going up to the Fred Lawrence Whipple Observatory. The RV park I stayed at is not worth mentioning. :)
Unfortunately, someone had been feeding this White Faced Coati and it came running right at me when it heard the rustle of a power bar being opened. When something with 1 1/2" inch claws reaches up - you tend to give it what it wants.
