Picketpost — Picketpost Mountain, Superior AZ

Picketpost Mountain is a stunning mountain that rises nearly 2,000 feet from the town of Superior, Arizona. It's a stand alone mountain that's on the Arizona Trail. The top is a fairly large mesa with a cast iron bench, a mailbox, and Gumby left by previous visitors.

The trail takes you up a gully between the cliffs and has a bit of scrambling as it works through the cliffs. It's a fun climb right up the mountain and the trail is not maintained so it's hard to follow at times. I lost it quite a few times and had to do a little climbing.

TED: Totally Excellent Dog

Teddy has some weird genetic hair issues going on. He's gone from short hair to long hair to a full mane to no mane, with plenty of iterations in between—and it doesn't depend on the season!

He's always happy to answer any questions too! You can email us at hillary@mybuzzabout.com but I'll respond for him as he hasn't gotten the knack of typing yet. WOOF!
